Rev Amber Evans

Amber joined Holy Family as our Vicar in December 2024. She brings her passion for the church’s mission of justice and inclusion and the spiritual nurture of people of all ages to her work with us. She previously served as the School Chaplain and Director of Service Learning and Social Justice at Episcopal Day School of St. Matthew in San Mateo, and as the associate rector at Church of the Epiphany in San Carlos. Amber collaborates with the director and staff of Holy Family Children’s Center. She leads a weekly Wondering Time with the students. She reads stories that emphasize univeral values such as kindness, forgiveness, fairness and respect and teaches spiritual practices such as breath and mindfulness.
