Outreach and Social Justice are key ways we live our faith at Holy Family. We follow the example of Jesus as we serve those in need. We strive to love God and our neighbor as ourselves, and to be a place where that kind of love can grow.

Every year Holy Family leads a community effort providing school backpacks and school supplies to children in the Cabrillo School District. We helped 483 children in 2025.

Food insecurity is a growing issue in our community. We provide volunteers, food and funds to support programs in our community. inccluding Coastside Hope's food Pantry and the Coastside Farmers Market Local Match program. Our members volunteer at the No Strings Attached Breakfast on Saturdays and the Coastside Community Breakfast on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are one of the Multifaith Partners of Coast Pride. We celebrate the lives of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expression. We are affirmatively inclusive and welcoming of the concerns of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer (LGBTQ+) through our congregational life, education, outreach, and advocacy.

Every year we participate in Coastside Hope’s Adopt a Family program. The Adopt A Family program provides gifts of new clothes, toys, food, and other items to low-income households in our community. This year we adopted two families of 5 for a total of 10 people that will have a brighter Christmas thanks to the efforts of Holy Family.
